We are a family-run crew of 24 roofers who have put more than 3,100 roofs over Ashford Valley homes with no subcontractors, no pressure sales, and a written price before anyone carries a bundle up the ladder.
Ray Halden started with one truck and a ladder rack in 2004. The company still runs from the same yard on Tanner Road, and every roof still gets a job number, a named foreman and a folder of photos you can keep.

Full tear-off down to the deck, rotten boards replaced at a fixed per-sheet price, new underlayment, ice and water shield at eaves and valleys, and the roof system of your choice. Most homes are done in three to five days.

Most leaks are not where the stain is. We trace water from the ceiling back to the flashing, vent boot or valley that is letting it in, fix that, and show you before-and-after photos of the repair.

Stay off the roof
Wet, bruised shingles are slippery and easy to damage further. Photograph what you can from the ground, including hail in the yard next to something for scale.

Stop the water
Move valuables, put a bucket under drips, and call us. We tarp open areas within 24 hours, and that visit is part of your claim, not an extra.

Call your insurer second
Open a claim, then send us the claim number. We document every slope and meet your adjuster on site with the photo report.

Straight answers before you call
Still unsure whether you need a repair or a new roof?
Book a free inspectionHow do I know if my roof needs replacing or just repairing?
Age matters less than condition. If granule loss, curling or soft decking is spread across a whole slope, repairs stop being good value. If the problem is one flashing, valley or vent, a repair is usually the honest answer. The inspection report tells you which, with photos.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes take three to five working days. We only open as much roof as we can make watertight by the end of the day, and we check the forecast every morning.
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. We need access to an outdoor power point and the driveway for the dumpster. You get a text with photos at the end of each day, and we walk the finished roof with you on the last one.
Will you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We document the damage, meet your adjuster on site and supply the photo report. You stay in charge of the claim and pay your deductible; we never waive or hide it.
What does the warranty actually cover?
Our 25-year workmanship warranty covers leaks caused by how we installed the roof. Material defects are covered separately by the manufacturer. Both are listed in writing on your sign-off document.
Do you ask for a deposit?
Not until your materials are delivered to the house. After that it is 40% on delivery and the balance once you have signed off the finished roof.
